The Certified Public Accounting firm Apicella, Testa & Company, P.C. of Shelton, CT announced they completed a Type II Statement on Auditing Standards No. 70 ("SAS 70") audit on behalf of The Human Resource Consulting Group, LLC. (HRCG) of Seymour, CT. SAS 70 is an internationally recognized auditing standard developed by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). A SAS 70 audit or service auditor's examination is widely recognized, because it represents that a service organization has been through an in-depth audit of their control activities, which generally include controls over information technology and related processes. The report represents to current and future clients that HRCG has successfully been through an audit of its control objectives and procedures. Going forward a SAS 70 audit will be performed each year, covering a rolling 12-month period.
