THE HUMAN RESOURCE CONSULTING GROUP APPLAUDS
EMPLOYEES COMPLETING PAYROLL CERTIFICATION CLASS
We are proud to introduce you to the members of our first Foundations of Payroll Certification Class. Collectively, the group represents HRCG’s focus to provide high-quality services to clients throughout the US. Notably, each department within HRCG participated in expanding their knowledge base; from business development in consultation with new clients, to implementation for new client set-up, payroll administration and management, Human Resource administration in handling personnel change requests, payroll distribution, quality control, and payroll tax coordination.
President and founder Robin Imbrogno commented, “This dedicated group of HRCG employees embraced the class with enthusiasm, allocating personal time and demonstrating drive to increase their knowledge of payroll principles to better serve our clients. The course of study included what the team characterized as endless payroll calculations, IRS regulations, Department of Labor rules, compliance requirements, payroll systems, and accounting and tax procedures. We are very proud of their success in achieving Certification and in enhancing the level of expertise that HRCG offers payroll clients.”

Payroll is an extremely important component of every worker's life. Yet the processing of this crucial transaction is something many employers and workers take for granted. Not surprisingly, payroll is one of the most highly regulated operations of any business. Compliance with a complex system of Federal and State legislation is essential. Despite these challenges, our payroll professionals manage their client's calculations, employee maintenance, and processing each pay, on time, every time. For this, we salute all payroll professionals during National Payroll Week.
National Payroll Week (NPW) is a national awareness campaign held annually during the week of Labor Day, hosted by the American Payroll Association (APA) in the United States, the Chartered Institute of Payroll Professionals (CIPP) in the UK and the Canadian Payroll Association in Canada. The campaign has two aspects, first as a national awareness campaign to recognize the efforts of professionals in the payroll industry. It is also an educational campaign designed to help workers learn more about their paychecks, the payroll withholding system, and payroll-related benefits.
The week celebrates the unique partnership among America's workers, companies, the payroll professionals who pay us, and critical government programs their contributions support such as social security, Medicare, fair labor standards, and child support. Through the payroll withholding system, payroll professionals contribute, collect, report and deposit approximately $1.7 trillion, or 64.2%, of the annual revenue of the U.S. Treasury.
